Quick (Teaser) Updates on Japan

Just a quick update today on all the skincare goodies that I managed to get on my travels in Japan, along with a bit of a teaser for what’s to come in the next little while.

Skincare Haul

Sheet masks and skincare products from Japan
Skincare haul from Japan – sheet masks, an acne treatment and a serum-infused foundation

Largely, I bought a lot of sheet masks to try out as sheet masks are largely an Asian thing and the variety is practically limitless in Asia. I didn’t do any research before purchasing any of these products and mostly just plucked them off of the “best selling/top rated products” shelf in an Ainz & Tulpe store (a Japanese drug store that is really not all that far off from a Sephora). Apart from the sheet masks, I also picked up a serum infused foundation from Lancome and an acne treatment gel. I’ve already started testing out some of these products and honestly can’t wait to share my thoughts with you all!

As for a quick teaser of my Japan trip, here are some highlight photos:

Above are photos from Niseko, Kanazawa, Jigokudani Monkey Park, and Sapporo. There are definitely way too many amazing spots to throw into one photo, so I intend to take my time to dissect it all for you soon.

We ate so many delicious things while in Japan. Omurice, cute pastries, traditional ryokan breakfasts, yaki skewers, and sukiyaki (just to name a few)! I definitely expanded my appetite and stomach capacity in Japan. More to come on this later.

Many apologies for the lack of a full update on my trip to Japan. I am currently busy with a couple of other projects and career related matters thus the hold up. I promise full update posts are in the works though and will soon be delivered to you all here on our beloved blog. Stay tuned!
